The Plast Program
The Ukrainian Scouts Program is developed around the Three Main Responsibilities of a Plastun (Scout):
• To be faithful to God, your country and value your Ukrainian heritage
• To help others
• To live by the Scout Principles (which moulds the character of a scout)

The Plast Program is based on interesting and challenging activities such as:
• Plast camps at which scouts learn to appreciate nature in the company of friends
• Regular group gatherings which feature games, singing, discussions,
• Bush walks and other excursions on which a young person develops character and maturity
• Jamborees, trips and other functions
• Activities which take you through the 3 levels of development of Scout as based on Lord Baden Powell's principles of scouting.

For these activities Plast uses it's own wide range of books, magazines and many other publications.

All Plast activities are based on the principle of SELF-EDUCATION. Under the guidance of their leaders, young people are taught to plan and carry out their own activities within their own age group. In this way, the work becomes more interesting and appealing.
