Дорогі пластуни, батьки та прихильники пласту,
Цього року на пластовій оселі Сокіл, відбудеться Ювілейна Міжкрайова Пластова Зустріч (ЮМПЗ). Зустріч міжкрайова тому, бо братиму участь в ній, будуть пластуни з інших країн, а саме від України та Аргентини. Ця зустріч відзначає 105 ліття заснування пласту на Україні. З цієї нагоди, ми щиро запрошуємо ваших дітей на цікавий і різноманітній літній табір. Пропонуємо веселу і захоплюючу програму, і обіцяємо унікальних пригод для всіх. Табір зорганізований пластом Австралії, але брати участь може будь-який пластун та кожен, у кого є бажання стати пластуном. Ми чекаємо найбільшу можливу кількість гостей з інших штатів і станиць.

Dear fellow plastuny, parents and friends of Plast,
This year we will host an international Plast jamboree at our camping ground, Sokil, in the Angahook State Forest in Victoria. It will be international, due to the anticipated participation of scout leaders from both Ukraine and Argentina. We warmly invite you and your children to our exciting and action-packed summer camp. Join in the fun, the challenges and the fantastic experiences available to all. Whilst this camp is organised by Plast Victoria, it is open to all plastuny and those who'd like to become plastuny. We look forward to enjoying our camp with as many interstate visitors as possible.

Monday, 26 December 2016 - Tabir Commences. Registration commences from 12pm next to the kitchen.
Friday, 30 December 2016 - Formal Пташенята (Ptasheniata) program begins at 1:00pm.
Saturday, 31 December 2016 from 4pm - Communal New Year’s Eve Dinner and celebrations.
Sunday, 1 January 2017 - Holy Liturgy, Camp Open Day and Пластова Ялинка (Lunch).
Tuesday, 3 January 2017 - Camp closes. Closing ceremony 10:00am.

В 1947 році, після двох світових війн, коли пластуни з'їхалися в баварських Альпах, можливо вони і не знали, що місто, де вони таборували, німецькою означає "Серед Лісу". В містечку Міттенвальд пластуни і пластунки зібралися, щоб відзначити 35-ліття заснування Пласту. І хоч країна була їм чужою, природнє середовище лісу було зовсім рідним.

Незважаючи на повоєнні обставини, ці переміщенні особи хотіли дальше продовжувати своє пластування. Ця подія увійшла в історію як "Ювілейне Свято Весни". Скоро пластуни роз'їхалися по світі. Дух, який відчули "Серед Лісу", взяли зі собою. Вони створили нові осередки на різних континентах і поширювали пластовий стиль життя.

З 1947 року "Міттенвальд" для плacтунів став легендою і міфом. Вже 70 років Ювілейні Міжкрайові Пластові Зустрічі продовжують традицію "Міттенвальду". Надійшов час туди повернутися.

Quotas

Due to the size of the campground and associated government regulations, the number of participants is capped. Each country has been allocated a quota. If after the first round of applications a country has not filled their quota, the places will be redistributed.

Due to the quotas, KPS has decided that places for Australian participants will be allocated as follows:

Minimum requirementi: Member of a Plast Stanycia in Australia, with fully paid member dues

Unatstvo requirements: 12-18 y.o., having attended at least one unatskyj tabir. Priority will be given to unatstvo that actively participate in plast (i.e. attend skhodyny & tabory, completed proby & vmilosti)

Vykhovnyky requirements: Priority will be given to current vykhovnyky

Seniory requirements: Priority will be given to seniory that are actively involved with plast vykhovnytsto or administration, and those that are currently in active leadership roles within the Ukrainian community in Australia.

Registration Process

Once candidates have been confirmed KPS will be in touch with candidates to determine travel and other arrangements.

В суботу 22 жовтня 2016 р. прилетіли до Мельборну 6 старших пластунів з Львова брати участь у святкуванні 50 ліття УПС Куреня Карпатські Орли (KO). В січні 2016 р. КО прийняли до куреня 10 старших пластунів з Львова з наміром створити курінь старших пластунів КО з осідком у Львові, Україна. Пластуни є студентами, живуть у Львові і мають від 19 – 21 літ. В неділю рано були в Катедрі Св. Ап. Петра і Павла в Норт Мельборні.

Молоді пластуни є третій з ліва; Ігор Величенко, Андрій Рибаков, Юрій Масюк, Ростик Кубік, Тарас Ґовда і Ярослав Кубік . Неділю по полудні були присутні на пластовім святі Св Покрови над Maribyrnong River де прибуло більше як звичайно юнацтва і родичів щоби зустріти наших пластунів з Украіни.

На фото учасники свята беруть інтерв'ю з Ярославом з Львова і надають йому дуже кручі питання.

Від понеділка до четверга пластуни з Львова відвідали Сідней де ними опікувався курінь Лісових Чортів. В суботу 29 – ого жовтня були присутні на Ювілейні Вечері святкування 50 річчя існування 43 –ого Куреня Карпатські Орли а в неділю в Православній Церкві Ессендон і на обіді і зустрічі Посла Украіни доктора Миколи Кулініча з громадою церкви.

По полудні в понеділок відбулася зустріч з пластовою молоддю Мельборну. Зустріч виглядала дуже успішною бо як прийшов час їхати додому всі були усміхнені, веселі і тяжко було їх розлучити.

Від вівтірка до четверга пластуни з Львова відвідували околиці поблизу Мельборна а в п'ятницю 4 –ого листопада прийшов час попращатися з нашими друзями і вечором старші пластуни відлетіли назад до Львова.

Курінь Карпатські Орли є вдячний всім за гостинність, фінансову підтримку і приятельство виявлено нашим старшим пластунам з Львова підчас їхнього цікавого і веселого побуту в Австралії.

Plast Australia organised a nation-wide training event (вишкіл / vyshkil) at Sokil on 1-3 July 2016. The event brought together 21 plastuny; including 7 older junatstvo, 12 starshi plastuny and 2 seniory, from Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. This vyshkil was the second part of the 2015-16 training programme.

The first part of the training programme was held last year, 2-4 October 2016, and focussed on the outdoor / taborovyj aspects of the plast method. The second part of the 2015-16 training programme focussed on the foundation skills to plan and run safe and fun hutirky during a skhodyny or tabir environment.

The learning never stops. Vyshkil attendees will be involved in provody/bulavy during the UMPZ 16-17, providing another opportunity for our vykhovnyky and starshe ypu to put into practise the knowledge and skills gained over the course of the vyshkoly.

Sincere thanks to all who participated, to the organising committee and instructors, especially those that visited to deliver their sessions – Andrew Radion, Philip Botte, Larissa Radion & Adrian Neugebauer.

During the school holidays on 28th September, plastuny met to explore the "Hidden Sculptures in Rookwood" Exhibition. Rookwood Cemetery is the biggest cemetery in the Southern Hemisphere, just down the road from the plastova domivka in Lidcombe. Rookwood has two Ukrainian sections, Pravoslavnyj –Orthodox and Katolyckyj – Catholic. Wandering around these sections you will come across tryzuby and plastovi lileyi.

HIDDEN is an outdoor sculpture exhibition that takes place amongst the gardens and graves in one of the oldest sections of the Cemetery. The exhibition invites artists to ponder the notion of history, culture, remembrance and love and allows the audiences to witness creative expression hidden throughout Australia's largest and most historic cemetery. The walk is 2.2 km long.

A keen group of plastuny followed the trail for almost 2 hours, making a few wrong turns here and there. Along the way we encountered dogs, fish, butterflies, horses, candle holding hands, corks, spiders, junk and all sorts of interesting sculptures. Reactions were loud and varied. We finished off with drinks and snacks at the new Village Cafe, provided by the stanytsia. The morning went by quickly and on a happy note everyone dispersed.

Saturday 22nd October was a very busy day for Sydney stanytsia.

In the morning an energetic group of plastuny, numbering close to 20, started the move of all Sydney Plast belongings from our old domivka, Unit 2, next door to Unit 1. Not far but with so many helpers the move was completed in record time.

Kurin "Blyskavky" provided refreshments in anticipation of the AGM, which was held in our new domivka. There was a positive reaction from the 31 members present at the AGM, about our new surroundings.

On Sunday 6 November Sydney stanytsia celebrated Sviato Pokrovy. Two groups spent the morning exploring Rookwood cemetery, much was discovered and learnt. After that we had a lunch of pizza, fruit and cake back at the domivka. An apel concluded the day's activities with Andriy and Sophia moving up to yunatstvo. Congratulations!

WORKING BEES AT SOKIL

Plast Victoria has been successful in securing the following dates, so as to complete the necessary jobs at Sokil, in preparation for the 2016/17 ЮМПЗ, and they are:

25-Nov – 27-Nov
2-Dec – 4-Dec

If you arrive Friday night, Wally Magalas will be present to let you in, and stay the night beforehand.

So you can see, that there exists a very limited timeframe. Plast Victoria needs all the help that it can get!!! Plast Victoria will provide meals for the above days, but we need hands on to complete the necessary tasks.

Please call Peter Milanovic (Plast Pryjat) on 0437 582 074 to acknowledge your presence, and he will tell you what tools are required to bring.

The cabins will be available to accommodate sleeping arrangements.

Please do not hesitate to confirm your attendance... even if it is for one day.

Благодійна подія - Боулзабава - перша поява в суспільстві яка була ініціатива Станиця Брізбен, головно Старшi пластуни – підтримати Mater Little Miracles організацію, що надає підтримку Mater Hospital у провадженні послуг та наукових досліджень.

На цей день Господь Бог був справжний благодійний бо Він нам поблагословив з прикрасним соняшним днем, а не дощі, як було подано за прогноз.

Зібралося людей, i в родинній атмосфері, забавлялися, насолоджувалися та, в загалі, святкували до пізна.

Наші добровольці файно пребрали салю і подвір'я в настрий благодійну подію. Галявина готова - чекаючи гравці. Висловлуючи славитне цитування «збудуйте і вони прийдуть», ми покосили траву, і вони прийшли! Особи котрі ніколи піднесли кулю в житті, із задоволенням, скоро навчили гру і деколи перемогли 'чемпіонів'.

Після енергійної гри всі учасники, з апетитом, скористалися печені ковбаски з хлібом, на австрлійський стил (bbq'd sausage on bread). Вечір продовжив весело і гармінійно в приятелські компанії у салі, де учасники, сідаючи за прибраних столах, спілкувалися, розмовлялися і після апелювання, співали улюблені народні пісні (якби при ватрі).

Подія Благодійна Боулзабава назбирала понад $400 і ми чекаємо на благодійні внески від Ukrainian Community of Queensland Inc.! Пластова Старшина Брізбен дякує всіх хто прийшли підтримати цю подію і також дякуємо усім хто дарували їжу та час на проведення благодійної події!

As an inaugural charity event, The Plast Bowlzabava was a great success, not just for the Ukrainian Community but also for the Mater Foundation's "Mater Little Miracles" charity, caring for the youngest members in our community.

All who participated had an enjoyable time, whether doing some lawn-bowling, socialising, making merry, joining in the sing-a-long or a mix of all the activities.

Plast Executive, Brisbane, thanks all generous supporters of our charity Bowlzabava. We collected close to $400 and are awaiting on Ukrainian Community of Queensland Inc.'s generous donation!

We also thank everyone who donated food and efforts towards the preparation of the event!
