З нагоди 100-ліття підняття прапора Української Держави на кораблях Чорноморсього Фльоту дня 29-го квітня 1918 року, і щоб святкувати історичне значення цієї героїчної акції, Головна Пластова Булава проголосила 2018 рік "Роком Морського Пластування" (РМП).
Навколо світу, пластові станиці та курені організують різні загоди, вишколи та табори з морськими темами. Пластуни Австралії також вже долучилися до морської програми на сходинах, та Св Юрія в Мельборні та Сіднею.
Час Святкувати!!

ESGAV (Ethnic Scout and Guide Association of Victoria), in its 40 active years, has seen entire generations of Ukrainians attend, take part, and lead out the multilateral annual gathering of European national Scouts.
The 40th anniversary of the camp was no different. Held at Tervete campsite in Kilmore on March 16-18, it received and was received by eager yunaky and yunachky, proudly representing their nationality, yet also eager to meet and celebrate the differences and similarities they share with others. Although we may have different native tongues, or countries of origin, much of our history and tradition shares a common thread.
Having the opportunity to not only become closer to existing Plast friends, but also to form new friendships with those beyond our own immediate cultural vicinity is what the ideology of ESGAV celebrates. We were given the opportunity to bless the vatra circle with some Ukrainian спів, and reciprocally received some great cultural talent from other nationalities, such as the skits of the Hungarians, the earnest chants of the Polish, or the songs of distant lands by the Russians.
However, despite these celebrations of difference, we were able to end vatra with a closing song; differentiated by language for each group, but unified in the same tune. The opportunity to be one part of seven nationalities at ESGAV allowed us to bring our unique and distinguished culture and traditions with us, but united everyone into one Scout body.
We hope there are many years to come of being able to represent our unique identity to others and being able to rejoice in the celebration of the diversity which unites us.

Виборча Комісiя Начального Пластуна була створена та працює в намірі вибору 4го Начального Пластуна нашої організації. Цей процес дотримується всіх правил установлених у Грамоті Начального Пластуна, яку можна прочитати в слідуюому зв'язку. Виборчий процес виконається таким чином:
1. Проголошення відкриттю номінації кандидатів
Ця номінація відбудеться в протязі наступних 90 днів, рахуючи від 1го червня, 2018р. Кандидати можуть бути представлені другими пластунами та є зобов'язані подати певну інформацію слідуючої анкети.
Теж треба додати листу підписів, які підтримують кандидатуру. Грамота вимагає підпис 3% дійсних пластунів (цебто, 108 дійсних пластунів). Проситься чітко вислати до vknp@plast.org, форматом PDF.
2. Електронні вибори
Після номінаційного процесу Виборча Комісія проаналізує кандидатури та подасть листу кандидатів разом із відповідною інформацією, щоб кожний дійсний член голосував. Вибір відбудеться тільки в електронні формі, комп'ютером або смартфоном.
Ця комісія вчасно подасть логін і пароль, щоб увійти до сторінки. Пластуни, акі не мають доступу до такої технології, одержать традиційною поштою свій логін і пароль, та зможуть попросити допомоги другого пластуна щоб здійснити голосування. Як би в цім виникла будь яка трудність, просимо звернутися до нас. Цей процес триватеме 30 днів.
3. Обчислення та затвердження висліду
По закінченню голосування проаналізуємо вислід, щоб установити чи Вибори вважаються легітимними (+50% участі законно прийнятих виборців), а опісля, чи якийсь кандидат отримав просту більшість голосів. Залежно із цього висліду проголосимо, чи є потреба нового голосування.
3. Обчислення та затвердження висліду
По закінченню голосування проаналізуємо вислід, щоб установити чи Вибори вважаються легітимними (+50% участі законно прийнятих виборців), а опісля, чи якийсь кандидат отримав просту більшість голосів. Залежно із цього висліду проголосимо, чи є потреба нового голосування.

Plast Sydney started off the year with a rock climbing afternoon on 4th March. There were many fearless climbers, the most outstanding of those Anya (ptashenyata), Alex L (SP) and stanychnyj hospodar Mick K (Sen). Teamwork was an important factor that afternoon, and it was wonderful to have everyone helping out, including the parents. Pizzas were a welcome snack and then more climbing. I believe there were many aches and pains the next day, but it was worth it.
On Sunday 25th March, over 40 plastuny and families braved the mess in the domivka to enjoy the Ukrainian tradition of writing pysanky. Many designs were created, tears shed when eggs were broken and fun was had by all. It was great to meet Luka, a visiting SP from NY. This has become a regular event in Sydney stanycia's calendar growing in numbers each year. Thanks to those who managed to source the white eggs, not an easy task these days.
This year leading up to Velykden, a small group of plastuny kept stiyka at the plashchanytsia at both the Catholic and Pravoslavna churches. Thanks to those involved.
On Sunday 27th May plastuny were involved in the laying of wreaths for Zeleni Sviata. This is an annual event to commemorate those who have fought and died in the struggle for a free Ukraina. It was held outside in front of the Catholic Church in Sydney.
Plast Sydney celebrated Plast's patron saint - Saint George - and Rik Morskoho Plastuvanja with a boat load of activities June 3. We had three new novaky join the Plast family, as well as all the 'old guard' jumping in canoes, fishing for Black Sea and Sydney Harbour sea life, and making Ukrainian naval flags. A big thank you to all the starshi plastuny and seniory who stepped up to make sure our sailors had a swell time.
Renovations are complete! The Sydney domivka has been completely transformed, with a brand new fit out to take us into our future. From what was a hollow warehouse, many volunteers have worked tirelessly to coordinate the renovations, and the result is spectacular. If you're interested in using the new space for a particular activity, or hosting an event there, get in touch with starshyna to discuss.
Plast spirit is alive and well in Victoria. Thanks to the dedication of our members several events have taken place in the first part of the year, which have all been enthusiastically well attended.
It was a little windy, a little wet and very cold, but that didn't stop over 70 Plastuny from gathering to celebrate our patron at Sviato Yuria and the 100 year anniversary of Morske Plastuvannia on the beach in Williamstown!
April 29, 2018 marked 100 years since the first flag was raised by the Ukrainian Navy in the Black Sea. This event inspired the formation of two Plasty kureny – The 'Chornomortsi' and the 'Chornomorski Khvyli'. Plast worldwideis celebrating this milestone all year, with maritime themed activities and events. Plast Victoria is pleased to join in the celebrations, culminating in a fantastic tabir to mark this momentous event.
Thank you to kurin Lisovi Chorty for the delicious lunch and Chornomortsi for the yummy cupcakes - also to all everyone who contributed salads and sweets!
Novatstvo and Yunatstvo enjoyed maritime activities, while parents and friends jogged on the spot and chatted until it was time for our Apel on the sand.
We remembered our friend, pl sen Wally Magalas with a moment's silence, listened to a story about Sv.Yurij and welcomed new members into kureni Chornomorski Khvyli and Karpatski Orly.
