Over 30 novaky and novachky from New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland gathered near Canberra for a tabir.
Plast Australia came to Camp Cottermouth in 2011 to celebrate 100 years of Plast, so it is fitting that we have returned to now celebrate 100 years of novatstvo.
Novatstvo had a range of exciting activities including geography, first aid, an excursion and hike at the National Arboretum, and stargazing.
Tativka also went on a walk at the Arboretum, to a local winery and to the museum at Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Canberra.
A big thank you to Referent Novatstva Plast NSW st pl Tayissa Oleksyn, Camp Commander and National Referent Novatstvo st pl Tomas Miljenovic for driving the initiative, and to all the volunteer helpers and vykhovnyky.
A special shoutout to the large Queensland contingent that made a mammoth effort travelling to and from tabir on buses, trains and in cars
Hotuis’!
