This Easter, plastuny around Australia stood at the tomb of Christ.
Guarding the plashchanytsia – the Holy Shroud – is a tradition we uphold every Easter, from Good Friday through to the Resurrection Service.
In Brisbane the youngest Ptashatko stood for a good ten minutes, guarding Bozhe-Isus, while in Perth recently arrived Ukrainian plastuny now living in Australia continue our international easter traditions.
