On 1 March 2025, the Plast Australia Executive and Board met at the Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall in Ardeer, VIC, for a productive Planning and Working Day. The event covered key topics, including education and leadership development, membership growth in Western Australia and Adelaide, and now Tasmania, and recognising contributions through promotions and awards. Discussions also focussed on governance, financial stability, and refining organisational structures to strengthen Plast’s future.
The afternoon sessions delved into communications and public relations, with reports on improving engagement strategies and the Plastovyi Shliakh publication. The team explored ways to enhance visibility through community events, program promotion, and collaboration with Scouts Australia. Planning also began to commemorate 75 years of Plast in Australia, marking a significant milestone for the organisation.
The day concluded with a summary from pl. sen. Chrestyna Kmetj, reaffirming the commitment to growth, leadership, and community engagement. With valuable insights and action plans in place, Plast Australia is set to strengthen its impact and expand its reach in the coming years. Thank you to those that attended in person, and online, and for your ongoing contributions to Plast in Australia.
