Plast Tasmania – 6 September 2025

Today, Plast members visited a personal exhibition of works by senior Plast member Anastasiia Ananieva, where they listened to a story about each work, learned how Nastia creates her drawings and which colours she prefers. We all remembered Nastia’s advice to follow our dreams. The children had the opportunity to practise drawing in Procreate and left their impressions of the exhibition.
Afterwards, we gathered at the Domivka, where we listened to a story about the Archangel Michael and the remarkable places dedicated to him. We recalled the character traits of a Plast member and focused on thriftiness — we considered ideas for crafts made from old T-shirts and each created our own. It was nice to see how the children added their own details to the ideas and came up with their own original ideas for giving T-shirts a second life.
Today, yunatstvo began developing a robotic arm on Raspberry Pi.
