On a glorious sunny day in Sydney, the grounds of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Strathfield West came alive with community, culture, and compassion as our Winter Market brought people together for a beautiful cause.
Hosted by the Sestrytstvo, the event was a heartwarming success thanks to the efforts of so many. We extend our heartfelt thanks to every single person who contributed—the generous donors, dedicated volunteers, talented cooks and bakers, vibrant stallholders, and, of course, the wonderful visitors of all ages who came to support.
A special shoutout goes to PLAST NSW for their incredible assistance and generous food donations. Your presence and support truly helped lift the day and strengthen the spirit of community.
Together, we proved once again: when we come together, we can make a real difference.
We are absolutely thrilled to share that $17,810 was raised for the Hospitallers Medical Battalion, a volunteer organisation providing life-saving medical aid on the front lines in Ukraine. Even more exciting—the funds are already in their account! Thank you so much for helping to make this possible!
Finally, our deepest thanks to our talented photographers—Natalia Bondarchuk, Oksana Churiukanova, Maryna Dukhota, and Linda Gough—for capturing the joy, colour, and community spirit of the day. More photos to come soon!
Slava Ukraini! Heroyam Slava!
