Participants drove, flew, or \u2013 as the editor imagines good plastuny would do \u2013 hiked in all directions back to their home states of Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, and Queensland, or to their home countries of Ukraine and the United States. On the way, they had a chance to reflect on their experiences during the camp \u2013 meeting new people from other states and confirming the stereotypes that they had always secretly believed, stumbling around the back of tativka while looking for the third toilet because the first two were out of order, frantically flipping through their songbooks during a vatra before realising that their edition had misprinted page numbers, and trying to find that tabir water bottle that they were <em>absolutely sure <\/em>they had packed in this bag.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year, many plastuny from Ukrainian stanytsi took part in the YuMPZ \u2013 twenty-five had recently been living in Australia while three made the journey specifically to attend the camp. Their participation in the camp was generously supported by the AFUO Crisis Appeal Resettlement Fund, the Plast Branches of Sydney and Adelaide, Plast Kureni, and individual plastuny. Their participation elevated an already-special camp, bringing a Ukrainian experience and outlook to the YuMPZ and further strengthening our community\u2019s connection with Ukraine. While speaking with the Ukrainians, many Australian participants even found that they knew more Ukrainian than they class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Sokil kolyby this year were filled to overflowing, with sixty-eight novaky and novachky keeping commandant \u0441\u0442. \u043f\u043b. \u0432\u0456\u0440\u043b. \u041e\u043b\u0435\u0441\u044f \u0411\u0435\u0440\u043d\u0438\u043a \u0421\u0412 and the novatstvo leaders from boredom even for a moment. The novatstvo program was similarly packed \u2013 between working on the requirements for the \u201cArtist\u201d merit badge, novatstvo completed activities relating to the camp themes of hope and Australiana, built their own pid-tabir gateway, and even found time to go on a day walk in the national park surrounding Sokil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Novatstvo celebrated the coming of the new year at a street-party-style set-up in front of the kolyby. Lights were strung up around the gate, trees, and road, giving the event an evening-in-Barcelona feel. The main attraction was an enclosed dancefloor illuminated by and completely wrapped in thousands of fairy lights. Novatstvo, their bulava, and parents all enjoyed this extravagant set-up, complemented by music and lollies gathered during koliada earlier in the day. Lasting until all novatstvo were exhausted, the celebrations continued at least well into the late afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-advancedheading.kt-adv-heading_4baef1-01,
