Recently, Plast members in Tasmania visited the first solo exhibition of senior Plastunka Anastasiia Ananieva<\/strong>, celebrating the opening of her show \u201cBlossoming of Belonging.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition captures Nastya\u2019s journey from Ukraine to Australia\u2014her love for her roots, her longing for home, and her gratitude for the beauty, support, and sense of belonging she has discovered in Tasmania. We are incredibly proud of you, Anastasiia Ananieva!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, Plastuny heard the stories behind each artwork, learned about her creative process, and discovered the colour palettes she loves working with. Everyone left inspired by her heartfelt advice: follow your dream.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The children also had the chance to practise digital drawing in Procreate and recorded their impressions of the exhibition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterwards, the group gathered at Domivka for a session on Archangel Michael<\/strong> and significant places dedicated to him. They revisited the core traits of a Plast member, focusing particularly on thriftiness<\/strong>. The children explored ideas for upcycling old T-shirts and each created their own unique piece. Watching them add personal touches and invent their own approaches to giving T-shirts a second life was truly inspiring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the youth group began developing a robotic arm using Raspberry Pi<\/strong>, taking exciting first steps into engineering and robotics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
