Over the long weekend, Novatstvo and Yunatstvo came together for a program that blended learning, celebration, and adventure, strengthening our Plast community across generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Novatstvo Mini-Tabir<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ahead of the Pokrova celebrations, \u041d\u043e\u0432\u0430\u0446\u0442\u0432\u043e<\/strong> gathered at Camp Ku-ring-gai for a mini tabir<\/strong>, spending two nights and three days<\/strong> immersed in learning and play. Fourteen novaky and novachky<\/strong> worked towards two vmilosty \u2014 Ecology and Cartography<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For their Ecology badge<\/strong>, Novatstvo learnt about different animals and their habitats, explored environmental relationships, and created their own miniature ecosystems<\/strong>. Working towards their Cartography badge<\/strong>, participants learnt to read map symbols and legends and even tried their hand at creating maps of their own<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside badge work, Novatstvo refreshed their fire-building<\/strong> \u0442\u0430 ukulele skills<\/strong> learnt earlier in the year. The highlight of the weekend was the much-loved wet sponge fight<\/strong>, where Novatstvo enthusiastically took aim at their \u0432\u0438\u0445\u043e\u0432\u043d\u0438\u043a\u0456\u0432,<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This shared moment of reflection and tradition reinforced the values of protection, faith, service, and unity that lie at the heart of Plast, strengthening bonds across age groups and kureni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yunatstvo Overnight Hike \u2014 Jerusalem Bay Track<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After celebrating together, \u042e\u043d\u0430\u0446\u0442\u0432\u043e<\/strong> accepted a significant challenge \u2014 an overnight hike<\/strong> along the scenic Jerusalem Bay Track<\/strong>, covering 13.4 km one way from Brooklyn to Cowan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite demanding terrain and a 32\u00b0C day<\/strong>, participants demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and determination. A refreshing swim at Brooklyn Baths<\/strong> provided the perfect relief before continuing the journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Congratulations to \u042e\u043d\u0430\u0446\u0442\u0432\u043e<\/strong> on this outstanding achievement \u2014 a remarkable physical and mental effort that reflects the strength of Plast leadership and spirit.
