Plast Queensland Apel – 15 November 2025

On 15 November 2025, Plast Queensland held its November Apel, a ceremonial gathering that brought members together in reflection, recognition, and unity.

The Apel opened solemnly with the singing of the Plast Hymn, setting a respectful and meaningful tone for the proceedings. This was followed by a minute of silence to honour all Plast members who have lost their lives in the struggle for the freedom of Ukraine.

A special tribute was paid to the memory of podruha Oleksandra Pavlyshyn, the longest-serving and most devoted member of the Queensland Stanytsia. Her dedication and commitment continue to inspire generations of Plast members.

The ceremony also celebrated the growth and achievements of our community, with inductions of new members, promotions, and the presentation of certificates and honours taking place across all age groups — from the youngest ulad to the most senior members.

We were blessed by the presence of Plast chaplain, Father Yuriy, who joined us in prayer and offered spiritual support to our community.

Plast Queensland extends its sincere thanks to Plast New South Wales and Stanychna Orysia for generously sharing a large number of badges, bringing great joy to Plast members of all ages.

The November Apel was a meaningful occasion that reflected the values of Plast — remembrance, service, faith, and the continued strengthening of our community.
