On November 22, 2025, plastuns of Western Australia, together with representatives of SUM, took part in the memorial service at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Perth, dedicated to the Holodomor Victims’ Memory Day.
Even far from our homeland, we keep a shared memory, because the Holodomor is a tragedy that has touched every Ukrainian family.
We honor the millions of innocently lost lives and emphasize the importance of remembering:
- so that the truth is not forgotten or distorted;
- so that the world knows about the scale of the crime against our people;
- so that this never happens again;
- so that our national memory lives even on the other side of the world.
Far from Ukraine, but with Ukraine in our hearts — we continue to preserve history and pass it on to the next generations.

Пам’яті жертв Голодоморів у Західній Австралії
22 листопада 2025 року пластуни Західної Австралії разом із представниками СУМу взяли участь у панахиді в УГКЦ св. Івана Хрестителя в місті Перт, присвяченій Дню пам’яті жертв Голодоморів.
Навіть далеко від Батьківщини ми зберігаємо спільну пам’ять, адже Голодомори — це трагедія, яка торкнулася кожної української родини.
Ми вшановуємо мільйони безвинно загублених життів і наголошуємо на важливості пам’ятати:
- щоб правда не була забута чи спотворена;
- щоб світ знав про масштаб злочину проти нашого народу;
- щоб таке ніколи не повторилося;
- щоб національна пам’ять жила навіть на іншому кінці світу.
Далеко від України, але з Україною в серцях — ми продовжуємо берегти історію та передавати її наступним поколінням.
