On 21 March 2026, Plast Queensland held its Skhodyny for UPP, UPN, and UPY, continuing the important motto from the previous gathering — “We Remember. We Unite. We Support.” These words guided the spirit of the meeting, bringing plastuny together in a shared sense of purpose and community.
Following an Easter hutirka, participants took part in a heartfelt initiative, writing and decorating Easter cards for our brave Ukrainian soldiers. Each card carried messages of gratitude, encouragement, and care — small but meaningful gestures of support for those defending Ukraine.
Continuing a tradition from last year, plastuny also prepared and sent an Easter parcel filled with Australian treats. This initiative was made possible thanks to the generosity of Plast families, who donated food items and contributed towards postage costs. We sincerely thank everyone who supported this effort — your contributions made it possible to share a piece of warmth and kindness across great distances.
These Skhodyny were a powerful reminder that even far from Ukraine, plastuny remain united in remembrance, solidarity, and support. Through thoughtful and collective actions, Plast Queensland continues to strengthen its connection to Ukraine and to those who courageously defend it.
